About the Department
The Department of Chemistry was established in 2000 with undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The department has grown into a vibrant academic unit with qualified faculty, strong laboratory learning, research activity, and consistent university rank achievements.
The department trains students in core chemistry, applied chemistry, laboratory safety, analytical thinking, and research orientation, supporting rural students through practical exposure, seminars, and workshops.
