About the Department
The Department of Mathematics was established in 2000 with the aim of providing quality education in pure and applied mathematics. The department offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to students from rural and semi-urban backgrounds, focusing on Algebras, Graph Theory, Fuzzy Mathematics, and Applied Mathematics.
The department has produced 29 university rank holders and focuses on building strong problem-solving skills, logical reasoning, and research aptitude in students, preparing them for careers in teaching, research, data science, and competitive examinations.
