About the Department
The Department of Physics was started in the year 2000 to motivate rural students and provide higher education in the field of science. It began with 17 students and has grown into a strong academic unit serving undergraduate, postgraduate, and research learners.
Students of the department have secured university ranks and gold medals in Periyar University examinations. The department has organised conferences, workshops, science awareness programmes, and internship activities.
