[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The College has Research and Development (R & D) Cell to govern the overall research activities of the College, such as monitoring research progress of the Ph.D. Research Scholars, stimulating the faculty members to write project proposals, publish research articles in the journals, failing patents and write seminar/conference/workshop proposals for funding. The College has three Research Departments, such as PG & Research Department of Tamil, PG & Research Department of Commerce, and PG & Research Department of Physics, under which several Students are registered for their Ph.D. Research and doing their research works. The Science Departments of the College were conferred with DST-FIST sponsored Departments and the department students and research scholars have been utilized the instruments in the DST-FIST laboratory for their research/project works. The Academic Council of the College emphasized the mandatory criteria of publishing research articles in journals, getting research projects, filing patents, conducting seminar/conference/workshop, etc. on an early basis by the faculty members to promote the research potential of the College.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]
